This ‘critical love letter’ to Austria gives a voice to different people who live in Austria and play a key role in shaping the country – but who experience racism and discrimination as People of Colour. Supported by performative elements, the film centres on people’s voices and reports on their realities. Some of the interviewees were born in Austria; some immigrated; some see Austria as their home; others have made it their home; and for yet others it will never really be. EDELWEISS presents a clear demand: it’s finally time to listen!
